Adults-Only & All-Inclusive Cozumel Day Passes for Cruisers
If you're cruising without kids, or you just want one day where nobody's cannonballing next to your lounger, you've probably searched for an adults-only beach club in Cozumel. Here's what most lists won't tell you: none of the big three beach clubs (Paradise Beach, Mr. Sancho's, and Nachi Cocom) is adults-only. If you truly want an 18+ day, you'll need a resort day pass, and there are only a couple of them on the island.
So here's the real breakdown: the true adults-only options, the quietest beach club if you just want a calmer crowd, and the best all-inclusive day passes for everyone else.
- Adults only: Secrets Aura Cozumel is the clearest adults-only (18+) all-inclusive day pass on the island.
- Also listed as adults only: Fiesta Americana Cozumel, but confirm the age policy when you book.
- KUZÁ: It has an adults-only AURA Beach inside a huge family park, plus a quieter Golden VIP Beach.
- Nachi Cocom: It isn't adults-only, despite what you'll read online (I've been there with kids), but it caps guests each day, so it's the quietest of the big three.
- Full resort feel: Look at Iberostar, Westin, El Cozumeleño, or Allegro.
- Booking tip: Prices change often and passes sell out on busy port days, so book ahead.

Is There an Adults-Only Beach Club in Cozumel?
Not among the big names. Paradise Beach, Mr. Sancho's, and Nachi Cocom all welcome families. The adults-only options in Cozumel are resorts that sell day passes, so you get the resort's pools, beach, food, and drinks without the kids' club crowd.
If you're curious about the big three and how they compare, my Cozumel beach clubs guide breaks down each one, and my Paradise Beach Cozumel review covers my personal favorite in detail.
True Adults-Only Day Passes in Cozumel
Secrets Aura Cozumel (18+)
Secrets Aura is an adults-only all-inclusive resort, and it's the most clear-cut kid-free option you'll find in Cozumel. The day pass includes the pool, the beach, food and drinks, towels, Wi-Fi, and non-motorized water sports like snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Hours run roughly 9 AM to 5 PM. There's also a pricier Preferred Club pass that adds a swim-up bar and more exclusive areas. See the Secrets Aura day pass
Fiesta Americana Cozumel
Fiesta Americana's day pass is listed as adults only and all-inclusive, with the pool, beach, towels, showers, overwater beds, the gym, and Wi-Fi. One heads-up: the booking page itself isn't consistent about the minimum age, so if a truly kid-free day is the whole point, confirm the age policy with the hotel before you book. KUZÁ's AURA Beach and Golden VIP Beach
KUZÁ is a massive beach club, water park, and adventure park, and overall it's very family focused. But its kilometer-plus beachfront is split into three zones: the Family Beach, the adults-only AURA Beach, and the Golden VIP Beach for VIP pass holders.
If you want the quietest, most grown-up version of KUZÁ, the VIP Access Pass is the one I'd look at. It gets you into the secluded Golden VIP Beach with a reserved shaded lounger, dedicated beachside waiter service, the buffet, and an unlimited open bar with beer, wine, and cocktails. You're welcomed with two premium cocktails, a bottle of Prosecco, and a chilled towel, and you also get chips, guacamole, and pico de gallo, bottled water, beach towels, and one water activity. The VIP area got some of the most consistently positive feedback from my social media friends, especially for the service.
Just know what you're signing up for. KUZÁ is enormous, so expect a lot of walking or waiting on trams, and the VIP area sits at the far end of the property. I had a wonderful day there with my water slide loving teen, but for an adults-only beach day, I'd probably choose one of my other favorites. My full KUZÁ review breaks down every pass and what's included.
The Quietest Beach Club: Nachi Cocom
You'll see Nachi Cocom called adults-only on a lot of sites, but it isn't. I've been there with kids, and its own website says it welcomes families and children. What it does have is a daily guest cap of about 130 people, which is why it feels so calm and exclusive compared to Paradise Beach and Mr. Sancho's. It's the most laid back of the big three, and as of my most recent visit, it had a small swim-up bar. If you want a quieter crowd and don't mind a kid or two, it's a great pick. Just bring your own towels from the ship. Visit Nachi Cocom
The Best All-Inclusive Resort Day Passes in Cozumel
If kid-free isn't a must but you want a full resort experience, these all-inclusive day passes are worth a look. They're all family-friendly.
KUZÁ Beach Park
If you want an all-inclusive day with more than a beach, KUZÁ is the big one. The Escape pass covers the beach, the lunch buffet, unlimited domestic drinks, and kayaking or paddleboarding. The water park and zipline are only in the Full Experience pass, so read the inclusions carefully. It's a great pick for families and anyone who hates crowded beach clubs, since it never felt packed on my visit, even with several ships in port.
Iberostar Waves Cozumel
This is my hidden gem. I've had a couple of wonderful visits and found it preferable to the big three when I want a more relaxed, upscale day. It's a full resort, so you're sharing the pools and amenities with hotel guests, and it costs more than the big three. It has multiple pools, the beach, and kayaks. Book the Iberostar day pass
Westin Cozumel
An all-inclusive pass with the pool, the beach, snorkeling and other non-motorized water sports, towels, and Wi-Fi. It's one of the closer resorts to the downtown cruise pier. Book the Westin day pass
El Cozumeleño Beach Resort
One of the better values, with the pool, the beach, snorkel gear, Wi-Fi, and even mini golf. Book the El Cozumeleño day pass
Allegro Cozumel
Three pools, a pirate-themed water park, and non-motorized water sports. It's a fun one if you're traveling with kids. Book the Allegro day pass
What About the Big Three Beach Clubs?
All three are all-inclusive (Paradise Beach also has an à la carte option), and all three welcome kids:
- Paradise Beach: fun but not rowdy, with better-than-average food that's served to you, and my go-to with kids.
- Mr. Sancho's: the party club, with loud music, a rowdier crowd, and more than one pool.
- Nachi Cocom: the quietest, with a daily guest cap.
What Happened to Playa Mia?
If you've cruised to Cozumel before, you might remember Playa Mia. Royal Caribbean is turning that site into its own Royal Beach Club Cozumel, so it's no longer sold as the old Playa Mia beach park. Check your cruise line's excursions or a day pass site for the current options.
Tips for Booking a Cozumel Day Pass
- Book ahead. Passes sell out, especially when all three cruise terminals are full.
- Compare sellers. The same resort can be priced differently on different day pass sites.
- Bring cash for taxis. Most of these resorts and clubs are a 15 to 25 minute taxi ride from the cruise terminals.
- Read what's included. Some passes include towels and some don't, and some resorts ask for ID or a cash deposit at check-in.
- Watch the clock. Your ship runs on ship time, which can differ from local Cozumel time.
