Want to Become a Travel Agent?
I'm here to help you learn how to become an agent, whether to book your own travel, start a side business, or an entirely new career.
Why Become a Travel Agent?
Hi, I'm Bati. A former police officer turned travel agent. I've always loved to travel, but struggled with making time for it, especially with a demanding and inflexible job in law enforcement.
My girlfriend, Melissa (also known as Professor Melissa), is a travel content creator and a travel agent. After watching her live her best life and being fortunate enough to join her on some of her adventures, I decided to take the leap and become an agent myself. She's taught me the ropes and I'm here to now help others interested in the travel agent life.
Even with Melissa's guidance, I found the TA thing pretty confusing, so I can see why that's a barrier for some folks. But she's done a great job breaking things down and explaining it in detail, and you can find her "FAQ's on being a travel agent" below.
Please take time to review the FAQs, and submit the interest form if you'd like more info and to move forward with becoming an agent. Best of all, there's no commitment, minimal investment, and no quotas!

"I love to travel and my goal is to have a career where I have the flexibility to explore the world, and manage my own business on my own terms. Melissa got me signed up as an official travel agent, and while I'm not at a place yet where I can quit my day job and do this full-time, my goal is to accomplish that in the next 18 months."
